 Agárdi Irma

Irma Agardi is Associate Professor of the Marketing and Media Institute and Head of the Retail Research Centre. She earned both her Master and PhD Degree at Corvinus University of Budapest. Her research expertise extends to retail innovation, retail business models, partnerships in distribution channels, research methods based on customer identification, Customer Relationship Management. She is the author and co-author of several retail-related publications (journal papers, books and book chapters). As a business consultant, Irma was working with companies such as Hungarian Telekom, IFUA Horvath&Partners, Hungarian Post, Budapest Bank. She took part as high-panel expert in the Retail Innovation project of the European Action Plan initiated by the European Commission. As research fellow, she worked at the Marketing Department of University of Passau and at the Marketing Institute of HEC Paris. Irma gained international teaching experience at Vienna University of Economics and Business, Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, and Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

Bauer András

Andras Bauer is a Professor of Marketing and Media Institute. He got his PhD degree and habilitation at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
His research interests cover neurotic shopping patterns, retail business models, and sales management. He is author over 100 publications in academic journals and books.
Andras is a member of the Hungarian Designer Council and worked in business project with companies like Bayer, Merck, Philip Morris, Sara Lee, Hungarian Telekom, OTP, and the Hungarian National Bank.
He has a broad domestic and international teaching experience. Andras held courses at the Berkely Business School of University of California for 15 years. He was teaching fellow at the HEC School of Management, Vienna University of Economics and Business, New York University Stern School of Business. Furthermore, he is actively contributing to the program of Community of European Management Schools and he is the vice-president of the European Marketing Academy.

Zombor Berezvai is PhD Student in Business Administration at Corvinus University of Budapest. He got his master degree at the Eotvos Lorant University in Economic Analysis. His BSc studies were completed in Applied Economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest. As a junior researcher, he was author and co-author of several academic publications. His main research interest covers retailing strategies with special focus on the interaction of international diversification and innovation in FMCG retailing. Zombor has gained work experience at Mercedes-Benz, IFUA Horvath&Partners as trainee, and at Procter&Gamble as financial manager.

Mirkó György Gáti is senior lecturer of the Department of Marketing Research and Consumer Behaviour at Corvinus University of Budapest. He attends regularly domestic (EMOK) and international conferences (EMAC Regional). Moreover, he published several papers in Hungarian and international journals and he is co-author of several books.

Concerning his international activity, he is a regular guest professor at the Estionan Business School and University of Zagreb. He gained business experience in SMEs marketing, in the field of social media and personal selling. Mirkó worked as a consultant with companies like OTP, Hungarian Telekomm and HungaroControl.

Tamás Gyulavári is an associate professor of Marketing and Media Institute at Corvinus University of Budapest (CUB). In addition to be a Master graduate of Marketing and Applied Statistics of CUB, he also studied at Cranfield University and Johannes Kepler Universität (Linz) and he was awarded research grants at Universität Passau and Copenhagen Business School. He received his PhD from CUB in 2006. He was guest lecturer at Herfordshire School of Economic Studies and at different cross-border universities. He published more than 80 scientific works in Hungarian and foreign languages. He also keep active relationship with business life and lead consultancy project for companies such as Tesco, BMW, L’Oreal, Siemens, Libri, Marionnaud, Cofidis, Generali.<//span><//span><//span>

Attila Endre Simay is senior lecturer at Corvinus University of Budapest Marketing, Media and Design Communication Department. He earned both his PhD and MSc degree in Business Administration at Corvinus University of Budapest. Furthermore, he got a double degree in East-Asian Studies at Pazmany Peter Catholic University. He received a research and teaching grant from Peking University and spent three semesters in the People's Republic of China. His main research interests include the development of the Chinese e-commerce and its effect on consumer behavior; and the foreign trade relations with and among East-Asian countries.
