I. MOBILITIES REALISED IN ERASMUS+ COUNTRIES

1)     PARTIAL STUDIES IN ERASMUS+ COUNTRIES

a) During the main or second call for application students have to submit their application for partial studies realised at one of the partner institutions of CUB.

b) Upon successful application the student automatically becomes exempted from paying tuition fee at the host institution and the student is entitled to receive an Erasmus+ scholarship.

c) If the student wants to apply for Campus Mundi scholarship, the abovementioned successful application is required.

d) It is highly recommended to get informed about the CUB institutional CM application deadlines because they can differ from the CM deadlines launched by Tempus Public Foundation (TPF).

e) CUB signs an Erasmus+ grant agreement with every student going to an Erasmus+ country. It means the student has to accept and fulfill the Erasmus+ regulations and the student uses a part of the disposable Erasmus+ months (12 months / study cycle) depending on the length of his/her mobility.

f) The Erasmus+ grant agreement has to take effect before the mobility starts and it can only be prepared according to the result of the CM application. In order to put the Erasmus+ grant agreement into force in time students are required to submit their CM application at least 3-4 months prior to the start date of their partial studies.

g) The financial status of the Erasmus+ grant agreement can be:
- Erasmus+ grant:
The student receives E+ scholarship and does not receive CM scholarhsip.
- Zero grant:
The student receives CM scholarship and does not receive E+ scholarhsip.
- Erasmus+ grant combined with zero grant:
In case of partial studies this status is not a feasible option. Students can receive either Erasmus+ or Campus Mundi scholarship. Campus Mundi support is available for max. 5 months at one go. If the mobility is longer than 5 months, a CM student can receive neither Erasmus+ nor CM scholarhsip for the extra period over 5 months.

h) Upon a successful CM application TPF prepares a CM grant agreement for the student. It means the student has to accept and fulfill the CM regulations and the student uses a part of the disposable CM months (12 months / study cycle) depending on the length of his/her mobility.

i) The CM grant agreement will be prepared by right of the Erasmus+ grant agreement and the Learning Agreement. It is very important that the start and end dates of the mobility must be identical with one another on the 3 documents.

j) CUB transfers the Erasmus+ scholarship in EUR therefore it is recommended to give an EUR account in the E+ grant agreement. The CM scholarship will be transferred in HUF by TPF.

k) Erasmus+ documents have to be submitted to the cognisant departments and coordinators at CUB. CM documentational steps have to be taken towards TPF.

l) If a student who spends the Fall semester abroad wishes to stay for the Sping semester, as well, he/she has to get the approval of both the sending and the receiving institutions. Upon a positive response the student can extend his/her mobility and he/she will not have to pay tuition fee at the host institution and can receive Erasmus+ scholarship (if there’s enough available Erasmus+ budget at CUB). In case the student would like to apply for CM scholarship for the Spring semester the result of the CM application has to come at least one month before the end date of the mobility (i.e. end of the Fall semester) originally set in the Erasmus+ grant agreement. The reason for this is the following: The Erasmus+ contract can be modified only while it is of legal force. The contract is valid until the end date of the mobility indicated in it. The contract modification can take up to 3-4 weeks and it can be done solely on the basis of the CM application result.

CAUTION: In case of an extension for the full Spring semester a completely new CM application is required. It means that all the application documents must be obtained again. Changing the date(s) on a previously issued confirmation is considered to be document forgery.

m) If the student wishes to extend his/her mobility with a couple of weeks both his/her Erasmus+ and CM grant contracts have to be modified. Regarding the E+ agreement the student has to contact CUB, related to the CM contract the student has to turn to TPF. Since Campus Mundi support is available for max. 5 months at one go, it is not possible to make a CM mobility longer than 5 months.

n) Pro-rata refund obligation based on the shortening of the mobility: Erasmus+ refund has to be payed to CUB, Campus Mundi refund has to be transferred to TPF.

o) It is very important to use solely the CM templates of each document because TPF accepts only those ones. These are the following documents: Learning Agreement, Confirmation Form (confirmation of arrival and confirmation of departure).

2)     INTERNSHIPS IN ERASMUS+ COUNTRIES

WE KINDLY DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO THE FACT THAT FROM MARCH 2019 ON IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO APPLY FOR A CAMPUS MUNDI SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNSHIPS DONE IN AN ERASMUS+ COUNTRY. NATURALLY, ERASMUS+ SCHOLARSHIP IS STILL AVAILABLE.

II.  MOBILITIES REALISED IN NON-ERASMUS+ COUNTRIES

1)     PARTIAL STUDIES IN NON-ERASMUS+ COUNTRIES

a.) During the main or second call for application students have to submit their application for partial studies realised at one of the partner institutions of CUB.

b.) Upon successful application the student automatically becomes exempted from paying tuition fee at the host institution but  the student is not entitled to receive an Erasmus+ scholarship, beacause he/she is going to a non Erasmus country therefore it is recommended to apply for Campus Mundi scholarship.

c.) If the student wants to apply for Campus Mundi scholarship, the abovementioned successful application is required.

d.) It is highly recommended to get informed about the CUB institutional CM application deadlines because they can differ from the CM deadlines launched by Tempus Public Foundation (TPF).

e.) Since the whole Campus Mundi application procedure (application, evaluation, documentation, entering into contract, receiving scholarship) may take up to 3 months therefore it is highly recommended to submit the application at least 3-4 months before the mobility starts.

f.) As the mobility will be realised in a non-Erasmus+ country, CUB does not sign an Erasmus+ contract with the student.

g.) Upon a successful CM application TPF prepares a CM grant agreement for the student. It means the student has to accept and fulfill the CM regulations and the student uses a part of the disposable CM months (12 months / study cycle) depending on the length of his/her mobility.

h.) The CM grant agreement will be prepared by right of the Learning Agreement. It is very important that the start and end dates of the mobility must be identical with one another on the 2 documents.

i.) The CM scholarship will be transferred in HUF by TPF.

j.) All the study related documents have to be submitted to the cognisant departments and coordinators at CUB. CM documentational steps have to be taken towards TPF.

k.) If a student who spends the Fall semester abroad wishes to stay for the Sping semester, as well, he/she has to get the approval of both the sending and the receiving institutions. Upon a positive response the student can extend his/her mobility and remains exempted from paying tuition fee at the host institution.

CAUTION: In case of an extension for the full Spring semester a completely new CM application is required. It means that all the application documents must be obtained again. Changing the date(s) on a previously issued confirmation is considered to be document forgery.

l.) If the student wishes to extend his/her mobility with a couple of weeks, CM grant contracts have to be modified. Related to the CM contract modifications the student has to turn to TPF. Since Campus Mundi support is available for max. 5 months at one go, it is not possible to make a CM mobility longer than 5 months.

m.) Pro-rata refund obligation based on the shortening of the mobility: Campus Mundi refund has to be transferred to TPF. Sincet he student did not receive an Erasmus+ grant he/she cannot get charged within the Erasmus+ programme.

n.) It is very important to use solely the CM templates because TPF accepts only those ones. These are the following documents: Learning Agreement, Confirmation Form (confirmation of arrival and confirmation of departure).

2) INTERNSHIPS IN NON-ERASMUS+ COUNTRIES

a) Firstly, students have to submit an Erasmus+ internship application at CUB. Its deadline is one month prior to the start date of the mobility at the very latest and in any case before absolutory.

b) Upon successful application the student is not entitled to receive an Erasmus+ scholarship, beacause he/she is going to a non Erasmus+ country. It is recommended to apply for a Campus Mundi scholarship.

c) If the student wants to apply for Campus Mundi scholarship, the abovementioned successful application is required.

d) Since the whole Campus Mundi application procedure (application, evaluation, documentation, entering into contract, receiving scholarship) may take up to 3 months therefore it is highly recommended to submit the application at least 3-4 months before the mobility starts.

e) Upon a successful CM application TPF prepares a CM grant agreement for the student. It means the student has to accept and fulfill the CM regulations and the student uses a part of the disposable CM months (12 months / study cycle) depending on the length of his/her mobility.

f) The CM grant agreement will be prepared by right of the Learning Agreement. It is very important that the start and end dates of the mobility must be identical with one another on the 2 documents.

g) The CM scholarship will be transferred in HUF by TPF.

h) All the documents related to the studies/intership have to be submitted to the cognisant departments and coordinators at CUB. CM documentational steps have to be taken towards TPF.

i) If a student wishes to prolong his/her internship, the CM grant contract has to be modified. Related to the CM contract the student has to turn to TPF. Since Campus Mundi support is available for max. 2-5 months (depending ont he decision of the Advisory Board of the Tempus Public Foundation) at one go, it is not possible to make a CM mobility longer than 2-5 months.

CAUTION: In case – after having discussed the extension prosess with TPF - a new CM application is required, the student has to submit a completely  new CM application. It means that all the application documents must be obtained again. Changing the date(s) on a previously issued confirmation is considered to be document forgery.

j) Pro-rata refund obligation based on the shortening of the mobility: Campus Mundi refund has to be transferred to TPF. Sincet he student did not receive an Erasmus+ grant he/she cannot get charged within the Erasmus+ programme.

k) It is very important to use solely the CM templates because TPF accepts only those ones. These are the following documents: Learning Agreement, Confirmation Form (confirmation of arrival and confirmation of departure).
