The new academic year at Corvinus opens with an international President-Rector

Bruno van Pottelsberghe, the President-Rector of Corvinus University appointed on 1 August, wants to develop Corvinus into a major international player. The new leader, who now also holds the position of President, spoke about his vision at the opening ceremony of Corvinus on 30 August, which was followed for the first time this year by a more informal opening festival on the University's new, innovative Gellért campus.

New Rector at the helm of Corvinus: Bruno van Pottelsberghe

From 1 August 2024, Bruno van Pottelsberghe will take over as Rector of Corvinus University of Budapest. The university professor of the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Brussels was appointed by the President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok to head Corvinus for a four-year term.

The Corvinus Sport Center on the Gellért Campus offers a wide range of sports activities

From September, most of the physical education classes will be held in the new Sport Centre, which will soon be open to the public in addition to the classes.

The scholarship application for the autumn semester is now open

Head of Corvinus HR received the Pro Futura Universitatis Corvini Award

Zsuzsanna Csentericsné Arnold received the award as one of the key players in the renewal process of the University at the opening ceremony of the academic year.
