The Institute of Data Analytics and Information Systems announces an open call for applications for a part-time Assistant Lecturer (20 hours a week) for a 1-year contract.
The starting date is June Choose an option 2025.
Job description and key duties:
- Teaching duties:
- Participation in the teaching, organising, and developing of subjects related to the Institute of Data Analytics and Information Systems related to business analytics and artificial intelligence.
- Undergraduate and graduate thesis supervision, exam and final exam committee participation.
- Research duties:
- Research activities within the institute, meeting the requirements of an assistant professor position.
- Preparation of research reports and regular publishing in leading international journals, meeting the publication requirements
- Service duties:
- Participation in scientific professional conferences and events
Essential qualifications and experience:
- The candidate must meet the job requirements set out in the Corvinus Academic Career Model
- The candidate must be prepared to teach at the required level of standard (has the knowledge, experience, and foreign language skills) in the discipline of the courses
Desirable criteria:
- Experience gained in teaching artificial intelligence and business intelligence
- Experience gained in professional projects in the fields of business intelligence
- Participation in research projects
- Participation in domestic and international conferences
Documents and certificates to be submitted as part of the application:
- Curriculum Vitae, including the detailed presentation of the teaching, research and service activities and results
- Cover letter, including the presentation of future academic plans (educational, teaching development and research plans)
- References written by at least two reputable leading professors or researchers of the discipline (signed, scanned)
- Research paper
- Scanned copies of the documents verifying the university degree, scientific rank (eg. PhD degree) and of the documents verifying other professional qualifications. (In case of scientific ranks obtained abroad, the nostrification will be arranged in the next phase of the selection procedure.)
