The Institute of Strategy and Management announces an open call for applications for the Graduate Teaching Assistant position for 1 year definite period.
The starting date is autumn semester 2024.
Job description and key duties:
Teaching duties:
- At least 6 lessons (1 lesson = 45 minutes) per week on average of two semesters) and teaching duties in seminars for bachelor students
- Mentoring students for case competitions
Research duties:
- Participation in the research centres connected to the Institute
- Writing articles in international and domestic journals in the field of strategy and or management
- Mentoring students in students’ scientific competition
Service duties:
- Active participation in the professional life of the Institute of Strategy and Management and the University, performing service tasks determined by the head of the Institute
- Participation in entry exams connected to the Institute
Essential qualifications and experience:
- MSc/MA degree;
- Application to a PhD programme or pursuing PhD studies
- Relevant business experience in the field of strategy and or management
- Experience in teaching and/or mentoring in Case Track courses
Desirable criteria:
- Research conducted or paper published on the topic of IT investments’ impact on firm-level competitiveness.
- Mentorship in international case competition
- Participation in the entry exam
Documents and certificates to be submitted as part of the application:
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae
- Presentation of the teaching, research and service performance and activities in three separate documents
- Cover letter, including the presentation of future academic plans (educational, teaching development and research plans)
- References written by at least two reputable leading professors or researchers of the discipline (signed, scanned)
- Research paper
- Scanned copies of the documents verifying the university degree, scientific rank (eg. PhD degree), documents verifying other professional qualifications.
