Dean of Executive Degree and Postgraduate Specialist Programmes
The adopted educational strategy aims at developing a flexible, regionally oriented portfolio of executive and postgraduate degree programmes that is well adapted to market needs and attractive to market players, and that ensures the continuous development of professional excellence. To achieve this, it is necessary to develop and operate an effective framework that builds on the involvement of corporate and institutional partners in curriculum development, and on the commitment and high quality of both study programme leaders and academic staff.
Main responsibilities/ duties of the Dean according to the Organisational & Operational Rules of the University
- Renewing and redesigning a programme portfolio for the study programmes adjusted to the market needs.
- Initiating the necessary professional development with the Vice-Rector for Academic Programmes, leading the planning and implementation of the programme innovation processes.
- Accepting the results of the study programme developments and forwarding them to the Vice-Rector for Academic Programmes for approval.
- Performing regular measurement and evaluation of the effectiveness of the educational programme portfolio against internationally agreed standards.
- Maintaining regular relations with local and international professional communities, organising cooperations between the educational programmes and the professional communities.
- Monitoring the human and infrastructural resources, their compliance on a continuous basis.
Nature of employment
Full-time, fixed-term, managerial employment, governed by the Labour Code (Act I of 2012) and the University’s Employment Regulations. The management mandate is for a fixed term until 15 February 2029.

Eligibility criteria
- Associate professor or Full professor.
- A university lecturer or a doctoral degree.
- Leadership experience gained in a higher education institute.
- An academic or academic research experience in one of the world’s leading academic disciplines.

- a 3–5-page description in English of the professional and managerial concept for the post, setting out the specific short- and medium-term objectives to be achieved and the ideas and plans to support their implementation.
- an official certificate of good conduct, not more than 3 months old, stating that you are not under a ban on higher education.
- a declaration that the applicant undertakes to make a declaration of assets and liabilities.
- a declaration that the applicant has no conflict of interest within the meaning of the employer’s Employment Rules and that, in the event of a conflict of interest, the applicant will waive the conflict of interest.
- a copy of the document(s) proving the required qualifications and experience.
Salary and benefits
Salaries and benefits are determined on the basis of the remuneration policy in force and the salary development policy adopted for 2025.
