Colleges for Advanced Studies
The colleges for advanced studies are considered prominent institutions in the life of Corvinus’ student organisations. Their members are students with similar interests who usually live together in the dormitories. In these self-organising student communities, it is possible to take part in small courses that complement university studies, and to immerse oneself in several areas of science at the same time.
In the colleges for advanced studies, lifelong friendships and professional relationships are established, moreover, the members form a community that they can count on later in life. Currently, there are seven colleges for advanced studies at Corvinus. Primarily first- and second-year students can apply to the colleges, however, you can join them any time.
Competence Centres
The competence centres of teaching methodology, research and development and service are responsible for promoting educational and research development plans, international mobility and the dialogue between science and society, and for supporting the strategic objectives of the University.
Corvinus Science Shop
The Corvinus Science Shop strengthens the dialogue between science and society. It is a meeting point where the local community and the audience made of the university’ citizens ask and answer questions. It funnels the issues of non-governmental organisations, social entrepreneurships, non-profit organisations, informal communities and active citizens to academic subjects and research, and teachers, researchers and students, together with the questioners, work to answer these questions.
