The internal audit is an independent, objective assurance tool and consulting activity controlled by the President that adds value to the organisation’s operations and improves its quality. It evaluates and improves the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes through a systematic and regulated procedure, thereby helping to achieve the organisational goals.

The Student Services organisational unit is a functional unit which fulfils administrative, consulting and service provision duties related to the studies of the students. It is controlled by the President, and it carries out its activities under the leadership of the head of Student Services. Apart from the Doctoral Program, it fulfils its duties with respect to all activities and establishments of the University.

As a new function, the HR was established in an autonomous organisational form on 1 January 2020, with the aim of supporting the renewal of the Corvinus University of Budapest with cutting-edge, modern human resource management tools and methods. During the renewal, we are planning to introduce considerable changes in the field of institutional operation, education and research, to which we can also contribute by developing organisational development and change management skills. Regarding the development of HR, the development and continuous support of leaders and employees are strongly emphasised. We would like to make the University an even more attractive workplace for its staff, where striving to be in the forefront of European development also means the development of employees’ skills and talents, as well as the achievement of individual development goals.

The organisational unit responsible for international relations and accreditations is a functional unit which carries out the international management activity of the University under the joint leadership of the Rector and the President, and its activity is managed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations-Head of International Relations. It shall fulfil its duties on all the business premises of the University with respect to all its activities.

The organisational unit responsible for strategy management is a functional unit controlled by the President, and it carries out its activities under the leadership of the Head of Strategy. It fulfils its duties with respect to all activities and establishments of the University.

It establishes, coordinates and manages the University’s relationships with market players, and builds a community of former students and supports their careers. In order to provide practical training for our current students, it establishes collaborations with a number of businesses and companies involved in research, innovation, production and sales, and builds up a relationship between highly qualified students and the business and institutional sectors. In addition to expanding the opportunities available to our students, it considers it a priority to contribute to the development of our partners. It is its mission to make the knowledge and information possessed by the Corvinus University of Budapest available to corporate and institutional partners for the purposes of research-oriented economic development based on state-of-the-art knowledge.

The organisational unit providing economic and labour law services is a functional unit which carries out the economic and labour law services duties of the University. It is controlled by the President, and it performs its activities under the leadership of the Head of Economic and Labour Law. It fulfils its duties with respect to all activities and establishments of the University.

The Economic Law, Procurement and Labour Law Services organisational unit reports to the Chancellor, its activities being managed by the Head of Economic Law, Procurement and Labour Law Services.  It fulfils its duties in the areas of economic law, procurement and labour law with respect to all the activities and business premises of the University.

The Közgáz Campus was opened on 1 January 2009, and, at that time, included the ensemble of the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Social Sciences. After the discontinuation of the faculties, the aim of the Közgáz Campus is to perform, coordinate and harmonise the higher-level operational tasks of the Budapest training location, and to promote and support the efficient operation of the training location with its high-quality services.

The IT Service Centre’s task at the Corvinus University of Budapest is the provision of telecommunications and IT services and the implementation of educational support services on the campus in Pest. The organisational structure of the IT Service Centre is illustrated in the attached organisational chart. The management, consisting of a director, 2 vice-directors and a secretariat, coordinates university developments and procurement, harmonises operational tasks, and oversees the operation of IT systems from a data security perspective.
