ABOVE

Our organisation, ABOVE (Alliance for Building an Open and Versatile Europe), sends young people to international youth projects in Europe funded by the European Union, thus free of charge for participants, and to organised individual and group volunteering opportunities abroad for between 2 weeks and 12 months, and implements such projects, participates in international calls for proposals, and runs local awareness-raising and community-building programmes. ABOVE aims to give as many young people as possible the opportunity to participate in international youth projects and to experience European cooperation at first hand, thus contributing to building a stronger and more cohesive Europe.

Short introduction:

The world is not just about the pages of textbooks! Step out of your everyday life and discover Europe with other young Europeans by participating in international projects! Discuss together issues of European relevance such as climate change, solidarity or European identity. We actively contribute to the future of students interested in social and economic sciences by organising lectures, debates and social events, as well as enriching students’ daily lives with short and long international mobility projects. The organisation aims to get young people out of their comfort zone and raise awareness of European challenges, while creating an active network of youth leaders.
