Day of Hungarian Science 2021
'Science: a compass for a liveable future’ was the motto of this year’s Day of Hungarian Science.The event series main messages were the followings:
- only by being aware of the scientific facts and contexts can we understand the processes taking place in our environment and to assess and influence their expected consequences;
- the importance of raising awareness to the role of comprehensible and experiential knowledge transfer in curbing false news;
- motivating the younger generations to create original ideas.
On this solemn occasion, the National University of Public Service organised a one-day event, where Erika Cser Dr., the Head of Unit for Centre for Horizon Europe (CHE) represented the University as one of the distinguished speakers. She introduced the processes and best practices of CHE in terms of proactive research support activities provided for CUB’s researchers. In addition to the introduction of the complexity of pre-award activities, she also provided a comprehensible picture on the competition for the EU research funding sources.
