REKK Regional Energy Policy Forum 2024 – Electrification’s Impact on DSO Grid Development

In our future economies, the role of electrification in achieving net-zero targets is unquestionable, but the challenges are immense. Eurelectric’s Grid for Speed study suggests that distribution grid investments need to double to cope with the massive electrification of transport, heating and industry, and to integrate renewables.
2024.11.12. 09:00 – 2024.11.12. 13:30
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Date: 12 November 2024, 9:00 – 13:30 CET

Location: Budapest Music Center (1093 Budapest, Mátyás u. 8.)

Language of the event: English

The Regional Energy Policy Forum aims to bring together energy experts from the CEE region and beyond to discuss where we stand in electrification. Where has electrification made good progress, where do bottlenecks lie, and where does regulation need to step in? We also discuss how it can be encouraged that EVs and heat pumps use green electricity instead of gird electricity and how they can help to use our grids efficiently.
