Our guest is the director – Ibolya Fekete
How do we survive historical turbulence? One thing’s for sure, you can’t do without good humour…
Ibolya Fekete’s mother told stories that sometimes seemed absurd, and the anecdotes and family stories reveal the perspective of the little man, the history lived from an “underneath view”.
…my parents and their friends: it was a deadly good-humoured bunch, even in the face of the greatest adversity. …they had no sense of reality – hence the ‘fools on the run’ – they didn’t consider the danger, they just did what a man of good morals does, regardless of the circumstances.
In a world of realities, can we relate to the film? And many more questions we can ask.
The discussion will be moderated by Júlia Sipos, staff member of the University Library and Márk Petrovics, member of the Corvinus Academy of Arts.
