Internal tensions in Hungarian society – a FAKT event

Is tribalism inevitable here at home? Why are there no national minima? Does a Hungarian political nation even exist?
2024.09.25. 17:20
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Date: 25 September 2024. 17:20

Location: Corvinus University, Building C, ground floor lecture room

On 25 September at 17:20, Imre Kovách and Veronika Patkós will discuss the “internal political and social tensions of Hungarian society” in a roundtable discussion.

Although political polarisation is a growing trend globally, with the escalation of the popular-bourgeois conflict playing a dominant role in public life everywhere, Hungary is a leader in this trend.

The reasons for this will be explored through sociological, political science and psychological approaches, among others.

The lecture is organised by the FAKT Szakkollégium and is open to all, so if you are interested, we are waiting for you on 25 September at 17:20 in the ground floor lecture room of building C.
