This year, the field was particularly competitive, with more than 1200 entries in 17 categories. 800 of them made it into the longlist and among these, the MyCorvinus Navigator, a data-driven career and life planning service developed by Corvinus, has earned a spot on the shortlist, securing its place within the top 30%.
The QS Reimagine Education Awards & Conference showcases the latest educational innovations and trends from various parts of the world annually. The event is organized by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a prominent British company specialising in the analysis of higher education institutions. The Reimagine Education initiative was founded with the aim of highlighting and recognizing innovations and developments in the education system that can create value for future students. The conference also presents awards in 17 categories for the best educational developments. This year, Corvinus competed in the Developing Emerging Skills and Competencies category (ACADEMIC – EARLY STAGE) with the MyCorvinus Navigator, the University’s data-driven career and life planning service. Out of over 1200 submissions, 800 projects were selected within this, the Navigator even made it into the top 30%. As a result, Corvinus will have the opportunity to present its innovation among the finalists at the event taking place in December.
“With the help of this digital innovation, Corvinus students can make conscious, well-founded decisions about their future from the very beginning of their university years.” – says Katalin Ásványi PhD, the business owner and one of the mentors of Navigator. The Navigator goes beyond a simple advisory system by inviting the next generation to self-awareness and mindfulness, providing them with the opportunity to shape their lives and career plans with proper support. The jury of the QS Reimagine Education Awards has also recognized the significance of this innovation.
The QS Reimagine Education Awards & Conference will be held from 11-13 December in Abu Dhabi at Khalifa University, where participants can present their project in a 2-minute video and a 5-minute pitch. In addition to recognizing regional and category winners, the Global Education Award and the Global EdTech Award will also be announced for the most outstanding project owners during the conference.
