Business solutions for a sustainable future.

The one-year programme prepares future leaders and entrepreneurs for the challenges of sustainable development and social transformation. Participants will learn tools and methods to initiate and manage the sustainable development of organisations. They will be able to assess the economic, social and environmental impacts of their businesses, find solutions to address them and work together for sustainability. Graduates will be able to lead not only successful but also environmentally and socially sustainable organisations.

When to choose...

Discover the unique structure of our two-year Innovation and Entrepreneurship master programme! After the first foundation year, you can choose from four exciting specialisations, all of which are also available as one-year Master’s programmes. Our two-year programme is open to applicants from almost all backgrounds, while the one-year programmes, including the Sustainability Management and Entrepreneurship programme, are open to those who already have a management/entrepreneurship background. More than 30 years of sustainability tradition: sustainable development has been an important focus at Corvinus since the early 1990s, providing our students with strong theoretical foundations and practical experiences.

What makes the programme unique?

The aim of the Master’s programme is to provide students with the practical knowledge and tools to become leaders in sustainable development, and to identify and manage the economic, environmental and social impacts of business. The theoretical background is complemented by examples from the real business environment, so that future leaders can truly create value in the world.

The programme has not yet been assessed by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee (HAC) or any other external quality assurance body.**

**Pursuant to Section 15 (1a) of Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education, higher education institutions with a valid HAC accreditation are free to prepare the training and outcome requirements and the curriculum for master programmes in the field of study in which they have already obtained qualification. Pursuant to Section 67 (4c), the time limit to obtain an expert opinion is 3 years from the date of registration.

Scholarships

There are two remarkable scholarship opportunities available to Non-EU international students:

Stipendium Hungaricum (for non-EU nationals from over 70 countries)
Diaspora scholarships (for international students with Hungarian ancestry).

Both scholarships entitle you to:

Free tuition for the duration of your studies
43,700 HUF (approx. €120) per month for the duration of your studies (for living costs)
University accommodation or an additional 40,000 HUF (approx. €110) per month for the duration of your studies (accommodation allowance)

Welcome to our master programme for business leaders of the future!

The implementation of sustainable development requires the cooperation of all stakeholders of society. Businesses of the 21st century should understand the sustainability implications of their operations and develop and implement solutions to reduce environmental impact and promote social development.

Our master programme is built on the experiences of more than 30 years of teaching and research in business sustainability and covers all important topics business leaders should be aware of. Based on curriculum focusing on both local and global challenges as well as their interconnectedness, graduates will be able to utilise their knowledge in small and big business, as a consultant in the ESG field or as the leaders of organisations aiming at the solution of various sustainability challenges.
