The research center which is connected to the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Corvinus University of Budapest, is dedicated to examining the challenges and emerging problems faced by the actors of the sports economy (namely sports organisations). Our goal is to identify promising, innovative solutions to sport institutions and private market organizations.
We aim to continuously supplement our activity with intellectual workshops and advanced trainings, such as the master’s degree programme in Sports Economics. In the field of scientific research, we are one of the leading centers in sports economics research. Our main research areas are related to business competitiveness in professional and leisure sports, the role of sport in settlement and regional development, the economic considerations and effects of international sports events, and the examination of the role of human resource management in professional sports. Furthermore, we collaborate with our research partners on analysing the association between economics and sport organizations.
