The Central Europe Association is Hungary’s first and only student organisation with a regional alignment and basis. Our Association was founded as an active community of undergraduate and master’s university students with the goal of supporting the professional development of the youth interested in international political and economic studies.
Independent from politics, but as a value-oriented NGO, we strive to strengthen Central European relations, the Visegrad cooperation, and the European and Transatlantic orientation of Hungary.
Our Association presents the European Union and Central and Eastern European perspectives of the global political and economic environment through lectures, panel discussions, workshops and conferences. In recent years, we have managed numerous successful professional projects, most of which we have carried out in partnership with analyst institutions, consultancy firms, embassies and civil organizations.
Our goal is to enhance our members with professional experience that possesses real added-value – besides extending their knowledge in international relations -, and which are also indispensable to building a career both in diplomacy and public administration, and in the private or nonprofit sectors. In the frameworks of our Talent Program, which builds on a three-pillar internal talent management training, our members
- can obtain an in-depth knowledge in the fields of foreign policy analysis and foreign policy journalism through attending internal workshops held by our renowned research institute and media partners,
- can get a first-hand experience of the world of politics, diplomacy, public administration or the nonprofit sector by our currently of formerly active politician, diplomat, economist, expert and analyst guests,
- as well as receiving real practical knowledge and skills through our professional workshops and trainings held by our experienced and renowned guests from the business sector.
The Association is an accredited, category A student knowledge hub of the Corvinus University of Budapest.
