Faculty Development Project
Leader: Lajos Szabó, General Vice-Rector
From February 2021, Corvinus was the first in Hungary to introduce the academic career model, which is a key element of Corvinus’ renewal strategy. The primary aim of the introduction of the career model is to strengthen the University’s international competitiveness by enhancing the quality of research and teaching, and by strengthening the research and qualitative focus. For teachers and researchers, it makes academic careers predictable and predictable by allowing them to choose between 3 different types of jobs (research-focused, teaching-focused, balanced academic career) in 3-year periods, so that each can focus on the area in which they are best able to perform: teaching or research.
