The aim of our department is to educate professionals with theoretically grounded knowledge, skills and abilities, who are ready to establish, operate and develop the mandatory accounting system of the economic organizations and budgetary institutions, and who are able to control the financial accounting system and able to support the audit of the financial reports.

7th János Bosnyák Memorial Conference

SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS: NEW CHALLENGES IN ACCOUNTING, AUDITING, AND FINANCE

The Department of Accounting of the Corvinus University of Budapest will organize the 7th János Bosnyák Memorial Conference on February 14, 2025. This traditional biennial event serves as an important communication platform for the profession to exchange business, regulatory, and educational-research experiences related to accounting.

At the conference, we will also present the results of the first phase of our research supported by the Visegrad Fund. The topic of the research is: “Bankruptcy Prediction Models in the V4 Countries and Their Applicability in Auditing.” Due to the nature of the topic, we expect the participation of practicing auditors as well.
