The Department of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Development is a unit within the Institute of Strategy and Management at Corvinus University of Budapest.

Research Profile
In line with international trends, our research profile is characterized by the diversity of organizational theory paradigms. We incorporate functionalist, interpretive/constructivist, and critical perspectives in examining various organizational phenomena and challenges. Our research groups cover a wide range of topics, including organizational behaviour, organizational culture and diversity, future trends in leadership and human resource management, human resource development, and behavioral science-based organizational development. In addition to traditional and innovative quantitative and qualitative research methods, we also employ participatory action learning and action research as part of our methodological approach.

Educational Profile
The Department of Organizational Behaviour and Human resource Development focuses on organizational theories, organizational behaviour, human resource management, and behavioral science-based organizational development. Our compulsory and elective courses play a key role in the curricula of the Business and Management undergraduate program, with several specializations linked to our department. At the master’s level, we contribute to the Management and Organization program with modules on Human Resources and Organizational Development. Furthermore, we are involved in postgraduate and MBA education, teaching compulsory subjects and overseeing professional programs such as the HR Business Partner and Corporate Internal & Executive Coach specialized training courses.
