Department of Organizational Behaviour

The Department of Organizational Behaviour was set up as a new organisational unit of the Business and Management Faculty of the Corvinus University of Budapest; the staff of the department was recruited from the staff of the former Management and Organisation department.

Objective and mission of department

The objective of the department is to play a leadership role (centre of excellence) in both research and education in the Central Eastern European region. Participation in higher education’s master and executive, and bachelor programmes in our key profiles: organisational behaviour, human resources management, organisation development, culture, leadership.

Other professional activity

In addition to academic work, the members of the department play an active role in the work of professional organisations (e.g. Hungarian Organization Development Society, Hungarian Psychodrama Association, IODA – International Organizational Development Association), and add practical contents to their activities by working as trainers, and organisational development and human resources management consultants.
