The main objectives of the College for Advanced Studies of Diplomacy in Practice are to provide its members with a deeper understanding of the world of foreign policy and diplomacy through a variety of professional programmes and events, to develop broad and critical thinking on economic, cultural and current social issues, and to form a cohesive and socially sensitive community based on these issues, so that members are happy to spend time together beyond the academic setting. The basis of the efficiency of our college for advanced studies is that we focus not only on deepening academic knowledge, but also on gaining practical experience in international relations and diplomacy that is difficult to learn in the university environment.

Short introduction:

Founded in 2007 as the Society for Diplomacy in Practice, the organisation was set up by enthusiastic young people studying at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Corvinus University of Budapest with the aim of complementing their theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge. Since 2017, the organisation has been operating as an accredited college for advanced studies, the College for Advanced Studies of Diplomacy in Practice, with the main aim of providing its members with a deeper understanding of foreign policy and diplomacy through various professional programmes and events, as well as a broad critical insight into economic, cultural and current social issues.
