The Health Economics Circle (HEC) was established in the autumn of 2009 as a student organization of the Department of Health Economics, Faculty of Economics, Corvinus University of Budapest. The aim of our student body is to bring together students interested in health economics and integrate them into the work of the research center, thus giving them the opportunity to deepen their profession more seriously.

In practice, we offer the opportunity to get involved in various researches, to participate in economic analysis work, to organize professional conferences, lectures. Areas of research are broad: disease burden studies, quality of life studies, cost-effectiveness analyzes, modeling, epidemiology, screening, access to health services, adequacy of care, health technology analysis, preference studies.

The Health Economics Student Circle was established to bring together and actively involve students with an active interest in health economics in professional public life and research, as well as to give them the opportunity to be connected after graduating.

Our student body consists of 21 member, and does not present admissions to those wishing to enter. We are waiting for all students who would like to pursue professional activities, who are interested in health economics and feel committed and committed enough to join us and participate in our research and programs.

The members of the Board are the President, the Vice-President for Operations, the Vice-President for Science and the Secretary. The Presidency is convened by the President at least once a month. The Presidency decides on the member admission by a simple majority.
