Youth on the Threshold of Life, FÉK
FÉK (Fiatalok az Élet Küszöbén in Hungarian and Young People on the Threshold of Life in English) is the Hungarian student community of one of the largest Christian student associations in the world. In FÉK, there are no taboos, the topic is LIFE, which is much more meaningful than you ever imagined! Our topics are life skills, intellectual and emotional intelligence, relationships and leadership. Being a student with FÉK is great, there’s nothing like it! The world expands, and the film of life suddenly starts to play on the big screen.
The aim of the FÉK is to help students to be successful in their professional and personal lives after their university years in areas such as character, relationships and teamwork. We do all this with Christian values, but you don’t have to adopt our values to benefit from our work. We organise lectures, conferences, camps and other various programmes to complement and promote university education. You can take part in our mentoring scheme and become a mentor yourself!

Our activities
In addition to the weekly meetings of the university student communities, we organise lectures, conferences, camps and other various programmes to complement and
promote university education. Every year we draw an iPad among those who fill in the questionnaire! You can also find useful videos to start the year! 😉 http://fek.hu/tulelocsomag/
The project for the autumn semester of 2020 is aJóÉlet (Good Life)! Online/Offline festival: https://www.ajoelet.hu/ The aJóÉlet! festival consists of three consecutive 3-week rounds. In 9 weeks, across 9 topics! It is our desire to explore and experience together the areas that are necessary for a quality life. This is a community festival. Community, because it will focus on conversation, shared experience and shared understanding. What is your way of thinking? Where are you now? ‘What’s the next step? With us, don’t expect someone to tell you the truth. It’s more about experiencing something together and talking about it. It is also a festival. You can choose from a range of topics, which will be relevant in different weeks for 9 weeks, but all of them will help you to discover a quality life. We want you to be able to talk to other people during the rounds and on the topic of your choice, to participate in the different thematic programmes and in the common activities related to the topics.
