We talked to Fulvio Veraldi, Digital Development Program Manager at an international oil and gas company about the role of emerging technologies and cultural differences in project management. He is currently studying in the International Project Manager postgraduate program at Corvinus University of Budapest which he sees as a valuable investment.

The course titled „Model UNFCCC CEMS Climate Strategy Roleplay” ran in the framework of the CEMS Master program for the 16th time in the spring semester. The course concludes with a two-day climate conference simulation that was hosted this year by Corvinus, between 9-11 May. The conference was attended by 148 international students from 9 CEMS partner universities, who took on the roles of various countries and NGOs to simulate the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and agree on the next steps in the international fight against climate change.

Organised by the Department of Public Policy, the conference will commemorate the remarkable life and academic contributions of Professor Jenei, a distinguished scholar and cherished colleague who left an indelible mark on the study of public affairs and public policy. The Antal Ács Case Study Competition organised by the University of Debrecen was won by the Corvinus team again.

There is room for improvement in the Hungarian household energy efficiency support scheme, according to a conference on energy poverty organised by the Corvinus’ Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research (REKK) in early May.

They completed the 211 km distance in a team of 12.

In 8 different events, nearly 1000 athletes from about 20 higher education institutions of the country competed. The Corvinus balance: two gold, two silver and two bronze medals.

The Corvinus Research Excellence 2024 (CKK24) awards were presented by the University's leaders at a ceremony at Corvinus University of Budapest on 2 May 2024. A total of 111 researchers were recognised for their publication achievements. This year, for the first time, the ERS Publication Award was also presented as a special prize of the CKK.

Two student startup teams from Corvinus University were selected at a full-house student business idea competition to compete at the 2024 Danube Cup international finals in the Austrian city of Linz from May 15 to 18, 2024.

More than 40 students participated in the event, aimed at showcasing to high school students what it's like to be a Corvinus student.
