After three years of work, the Corvinus Gellért Campus officially opened its doors on 22 February. In addition to the symbolic handing over of keys, we prepared numerous student and staff member programmes. The Gellért Campus, home to the most sustainable higher education building in the country, was inaugurated on Thursday at a ceremony for Corvinus citizens in Újbuda. The community-designed Buda campus, which can accommodate 680 students, will offer the university community collaborative teaching spaces, a four-storey dormitory, a sports centre and a park.

The most outstanding lecturers at Corvinus for the autumn semester were revealed based on student votes.

At the presentation of the centre, it was revealed that the Tourism Bulletin, which they edit, is the tenth most cited journal in Hungary, and from this year they are also accepting English-language papers. They are also publishing the 27th volume of their book series.

Most people have heard about the high admission scores required for Corvinus University and the oversubscribed International Business Economics study programme. However, it's less known what tangible advantage a young person can gain by starting their job search with a Corvinus diploma in hand. Krisztofer Szabó started his Master programme at Corvinus in 2017 and is currently in the last semester of his PhD studies.
