The technological and data processing practices of certain aid organizations are highly controversial, as highlighted by Beáta Paragi, Associate Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, in her study and monograph. Although widely used among large aid organizations, it is little known that stored personal data undergo screening—primarily concerning employees, suppliers, and partners, while beneficiary data is scrutinized to a lesser extent.
