Erna Kindli, the managing director of Bátor Tábor (the Camp of Courage), who is this year’s recipient of the Mid-Career Alumni of the Year award of CEMS (Community of European Management Schools), has completed the leadership training program as a student at the Management and Organization study program of Corvinus University.

Erna Kindli, managing director of Bátor Tábor, a former student of Corvinus University of Budapest, is one of the three awardees who received this year’s Alumni of the Year awards from the CEMS international business management training organisation on 26 October this year. Selecting awardees from among nearly 17 000 former students, the community of CEMS recognised a Hungarian alumni this year for the second time in its history. In Hungary, the CEMS Master’s in International Management program, which is ranked 12th in this year’s QS world ranking, can be completed as part of a double degree program by students of Corvinus University.

The Library offers 30-minute presentations in the topic of authors’ visibility. One presentation will be held in English to help English-speaking faculty members and PhD students.

Beginning in September, each week we will feature an excellent Corvinus researcher who has recently received recognition for their work. This time László Csató is presented, who uses mathematical and statistical models to analyse sports-related matters and find correlations that very few people in the world can.

The international research project about the role of higher education institutions in the regional innovation ecosystem has come to end after 3 years of joint work under the Erasmus+ fund. A short film about the results and a white paper are available.

The College for Advanced Studies of Diplomacy in Practice invites first and second year BA International Relations (Hungarian and foreign) students to Vienna on 2 December. Among other things, we will visit the UN headquarters in Vienna, attend a lecture, and afterwards we will go sightseeing in Vienna in our own bus, visit a chocolate factory and walk around the Christmas market!

Offices can be made more sustainable by directed lighting and more natural light.

Due to the decision of Microsoft, university mailing will not be accessible in several external applications, e.g. Gmail, because from 25 November, external mail systems can only be reached through applications with a security level of strong authentication.
