It’s not just the pilot’s expertise and the condition of the aircraft that matter, but also the quality of the airline’s corporate governance that affect the likelihood of plane crashes – finds a recent international study involving Corvinus University of Budapest, which examined hundreds of airline companies.

On Poetry Day, April 11, Corvinus University will share excerpts from poems written in ten commonly spoken languages within the student community, in English translation. The poems celebrate spring, as it was welcomed in medieval Mosul, along the banks of the Yangtze River, or perhaps in early 20th-century Paris or Budapest.

To mark the first anniversary of the Pannonia Scholarship Programme, Corvinus University has taken stock of its experiences with international study mobility under the new framework. Thanks to the joint support of the Pannonia Programme and the university’s maintaining foundation, the Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation, Corvinus was able to ensure continuity in international mobility opportunities even after the suspension of Erasmus+. As a result, student participation remained steady, and hundreds were able to begin their studies abroad.
