This time we present Balázs Sziklai, who has studied political science situations, the rules of sports competitions and energy economics. He started out as a market researcher and continued as a mathematician, but he has no plans to take a new career turn.

From sustainability to behavioural economics

The objective of this research was to develop a new and highly accurate approach based on a fuzzy inference system (FIS) for the evaluation of usability based on ISO 9241-210:2019. In this study, a fully automated method of usability evaluation is used for interactive systems with a special look at interactive social robots.

The publication by Ildikó Szabó, Katalin Ternai and Szabina Fodor was published in the Enterprise Information Systems.

The intercultural and international environment is more and more attractive to university students. It is not only the Corvinus University of Budapest that is in the forefront of creating such an environment for its students, but the College for Advanced Studies in Practical Diplomacy also attempts to follow this trend. We asked Márton Rimóczi president about the organisation.

From this year’s basic research tenders, Corvinus will get funds for the examination and algorithm research of sustainability issues, behaviour distortions, employee welfare and artificial intelligence expectations, too.  Altogether HUF 256 million will be available to our researchers for the three- or four-year projects.

This autumn will be the first time when teachers may apply for admission to the further training programme that prepares them for the complex application of the principle of sustainability. The part-time programme offered in correspondence delivery mode will start in February 2023, as a result of the joint efforts of Corvinus and the Blue Planet Foundation.

The collection of studies titled ‘Economy and Religion – Innovative Models of Economic Spirituality’ edited by the staff of the Business Ethics Centre, László Zsolnai, Gábor László Kovács and András Ócsai was presented at the Corvinus University on 13 September.

Dr Eelko Huizingh, author of more than 450 publications, will give an online workshop at Corvinus. The workshop aims to promote the publication of colleagues' research in prestigious international journals.
