Péter Mihályi, lecturer of Corvinus has become an academician

On 3 May, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences elected its new members, including – as a corresponding member – the teacher of our University, Péter Mihályi, who has been a professor of Corvinus University of Budapest since 2016. In the course of his career, he researched the interrelated sub-areas of applied macroeconomics: housing management, investment cycles, western assistance in post-socialist transformation, privatisation, corruption, healthcare and pension system, social inequalities in the post-socialist societies.

Renovation of the Sóház continues – the building will be closed in the summer

Our best students can get HUF 70 thousand again

Owing to the financing by the foundation, the maximum amount of the study scholarship is HUF 70 thousand per month in this semester, too. The amount available for one applicant was almost four and a half times higher than in the state scholarship scheme.
