Change in library services from 12 April

Reading Halls are still closed, but borrowing is relaunched from 12 April, 2021 with online requests.

 
Borrowing books

Our registered readers can submit book requests by filling in the online form. The librarians will respond to each loan request, and they will notify readers about the time books can be picked up. Pick-up time is Monday-Friday, 10:00-18:00. 

Prolonging of loan deadlines 

Please, bear your deadlines in mind. From 12 April, 2021 the automatic prolonging is no longer in effect, and overdue fines will once again be charged. 

Returning borrowed books 

Please, place the books inside the container near the entrance, on weekdays between 10:00 and 18:00. Books taken back from the container will be available again for borrowing after a 48-hour quarantine period. 

Online sources

Our electronic sources – database contents, e-books, e-journals, documents in the repository – are available to BCU students and staff via VPN. Our online training and consultation sessions will continue on Microsoft Teams. 

The library will temporarily not accept the registration of external readers
