Did you know that Germany, Austria and Switzerland are our country’s top economic partners? Be the one the DACH companies are competing for!
Have you been accepted to study Finance and Accounting, Applied Economics, Business Administration and Management, Business Informatics or International Business Economics? Have you got a B2 exam in German? Would you also like to learn professional subjects in German that could help you get a cool international job later on, in Hungary or abroad? Then the DSG was made for you!
For 30 years, the DSG German-language International Educational Programme in Management Centre at the Corvinus University of Budapest has been offering subjects in German, in cooperation with the University of Passau. We have a number of renowned Hungarian and German lecturers, so students at the Centre receive the highest quality of education. In addition to the Hungarian lecturers, professors from Passau typically present the material from a new perspective, helping students to acquire internationally stable knowledge. At the DSG, you can take courses that are compulsory in the Hungarian programme, such as Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Business Economics), Investition und Finanzierung (Corporate Finance) or Marketing. It is important to note that you do not have to take these subjects in Hungarian, but only in German, thus avoiding double subject registration. In addition, the DSG offers you the opportunity to take part in a number of community and professional programmes, such as the traditional autumn Studienreise (professional trip lasting several days) to the City of Three Rivers, Passau, or the Wirtschaftsuni in Vienna, moreover, as a DAAD scholarship holder you can even spend a semester in Germany!
In the autumn we wish to get to know the new students and show them the value of the DSG. So on 20 September, after last year’s great success, we will once again organise the Freshman’s Evening (Erstsemester-Abend), which aims to give new DSG students the chance to meet their peers, the lecturers and the centre’s demonstrators. During the informal evening, you can also meet the DSG Director, Loretta Huszák, and alumni who will talk about their current jobs and how they have been able to use the knowledge they gained at the DSG in their professional lives. Throughout the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to socialise freely and build your network of contacts. Don’t miss it, we look forward to seeing you on 20 September!
At DSG, we also place great emphasis on corporate relations. As part of our first and most exciting professional programme this year, we will have the opportunity to visit the Mercedes plant in Kecskemét in early October (probably on 5 October). The presentation will be given by Karsten Twele, Head of Finance & Controlling at the plant. Then we will also look at the assembly lines. Places are limited, so register as soon as possible and be part of a great day at the Mercedes Hungary site!
