Donate blood and win a weekly pass to the Sziget Festival!

‘Does music run in your blood? Donate blood and win entrance tickets to the coolest festival of the summer!’ – This is the slogan used by the Hungarian National Blood Transfusion Service (OVSz) and the Hungarian Red Cross (MVK) to invite students in higher education to donate blood. Based on the great success of last year, University Blood Donation Weeks are held in the weeks preceding the examination period, from 17 April to 14 May. 

The campaign, which is almost one month long, is one of the key events of the University Blood Donation Competition that runs throughout the year. The objective is to reach young people and promote the importance of social responsibility. In this way, students will be able to meet and experience this form of giving assistance in their own institutions. In this year, more than 30 locations in higher education will provide staff and students with the opportunity to donate blood. Additionally, university students who wish to donate blood are still welcome to visit blood supply institutions and other events. 

Similarly to last year, the campaign will close with a prize draw again, where participants can win tickets and passes to various summer festivals.

If you wish to join the game, all you have to do at the time of registration is indicate that you wish to donate blood in the university blood donation campaign and name your institution of higher education.
