Guest lecture of Andrei Rădulescu at Corvinus

The lecture and a discussion after deal with the economic challenges the EU is confronted with proposing potential metrics using a matrix (with annual targets for the most important indicators), changes in governance, implementation and accountability. Mr Rădulescu is currently on a tour to share his vision at various universities/conferences/think tanks in the EU, including those in Brussels, Paris, Lisbon, Luxembourg, Sofia, Warsaw, Dublin and Budapest. The guest lecture is organized by Judit Burucs within the framework of her International Financial Market and Management course, but it is open to all university citizens without any prior registration.
Andrei Rădulescu, International Senior Macroeconomist, with post-university studies and professional experience at top institutions in Portugal and Romania, in macroeconomic research and forecasting. In Portugal Andrei graduated the Master’s Degree in Economics at the University of Porto and did applied macroeconomic research for the biggest investment fund in the country. In Romania Andrei graduated the Ph.D. in International Economics at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the post-doctorate in Economics at the Romanian Academy, the highest scientific forum in the country. He worked as fundamental analyst and macroeconomist on the capital markets for seven years, and afterwards was Chief Economist of the largest lender in Romania and South Eastern Europe for almost 10 years, doing macroeconomic research and forecasting for world economy, Euroland economy, Romania, and Moldova.
Starting 2014 Andrei is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for World Economy within Romanian Academy, doing applied macroeconomic research, from world economy (US, China), to Europe, CEE, and Romania.
Andrei is a constant presence at International Conferences on macroeconomic and/or financial topics (presentations at top events in 40 countries across the world) and is member of think tanks in several countries.
