25 Feb. 2025, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Want to do more for the sustainability of our soils? You can take small steps to get closer to the soil at the workshop of the LOESS - Soil Health in Education research project, organized by Corvinus Science Shop (in Hungarian).
2025.02.25. 18:00 – 2025.02.25. 20:00
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Date: 25 February 2025 18:00-20:00

Location:  Bolygó Közösségi Tér, Budapest, Margit körút 28-32, 1027

Language of the event: Hungarian

Join us for a lively, inspiring discussion where:

  • Explore how to build a regular relationship with soil in everyday life.

  • Get concrete tips: composting, mushrooming, community gardens, hiking, forest bathing and much more!

  • We’ll also talk about how to build a career for yourself that allows you to work for soil health at work, whether it’s a soil-conscious business, NGO work or even volunteering.

  • Together, we will map out individual and community pathways – even to start on the next day!

We will organise a roundtable discussion with our guests in the first half of the event, followed by an interactive workshop to create a “map of pathways to soil health” together.

The event is part of LOESS – Soil Health in Education, an international research project coordinated by the Corvinus Science Shop in Hungary.

Come and take the first step towards soil!

The event is free, no registration required, everyone is welcome! We’ll be introducing our invited guests soon, so be sure to follow the Facebook event! Please note that the event will be in Hungarian.

In 2025, the Sustainability Theme of the Month project will continue, with the aim of presenting an interesting and relevant green topic at Corvinus every month. In February, we chose climate futurism as our subject, which is about how we can imagine alternative pathways and visions for a more sustainable and better life, for example through our relationship with the soil. We also welcome further related events, activities and results at mate.kovacs2@uni-corvinus.hu.
