Degrowth, new narratives for a new economic era – Book launch event for the Routledge Handbook of Degrowth

Degrowth has become an academic field debated in various disciplines. The Routledge Handbook of Degrowth features 55 prominent co-authors from all around the world. With 35 thematic chapters on the practice, history, and futures of degrowth, the handbook offers an in-depth state of play of Degrowth.
Degrowth addresses the limits of growth from an economic point of view. Alexandra Köves’ chapter, ‘Roles of utopian thought in a degrowth transformation’ highlights debates around new Degrowth narratives and points of view. Most significantly all the contributors address how Degrowth can offer new models of future societies.
