In the framework of the New Vision, the organisers expect entries in five topics from students applying individually or in teams of two to three, for a gross prize of up to HUF 1,000,000 in case of successful performance.

The applications submitted to the scheme can be based on one of the following five topics:

Home for everyone programme

Secure pension system

New demographic programme

Competitive higher education system

Digital instant financial system


PARTICIPANTS:

Students in full-time (BA/BSc), single-cycle, master’s (MA/MSc) and doctoral studies with active student status in the 1st (autumn) semester of the 2020/2021 academic year at a higher education institution in Hungary and abroad, if it also offers Hungarian-language training, may apply individually as well as in teams of two (2) and three (3).


SCHEDULE:

Deadline for submission of applications: 18 October 2020, 23:59

Applications judged by the jury to be the most promising will advance to an oral final round, where the authors of the entries will have to present their results.

Expected date of the oral final: 17-19 November 2020. (Sections spread over several days)

Ceremonial award event: 19 November 2020.


AWARDS:

10 “Excellent Application” prizes: gross HUF 1,000,000/prize

10 “Notable Application” prizes: gross HUF 500,000/prize

PhD special award per category: gross HUF 1,000,000/award

MNB Excellence Scholarship Special Award: gross HUF 1,000,000

Based on the performance in the final, another 50 prizes to be distributed based on the decision of the jury (iPad capable of mobile internet)


REGISTRATION:

1. Register a profile on the EcoSim competition website (if no profile has already been created in connection with a previous competition)

2. Upload a profile with the required data: Personal information; Studies; Foreign language skills

3. Select the competition and apply for the competition

4. Create a team by entering an ID name

5. Invite team members via e-mail (unless there is an individual start)
