Corvinus University to Host the Annual Conference of the International Sustainable Development Research Society in 2025
The conference is expected to welcome 250–300 participants from five continents, including researchers from renowned universities worldwide.Date: 8–12 July 2025
As a result of a successful proposal prepared by the Department of Sustainability Management and Environmental Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest in the spring of 2024, our university has been awarded the right to host the 31st annual conference of the International Sustainable Development Research Society (ISDRS).
The conference will focus on the theme “Sustainability and Beyond”, with its central question being how the concept of sustainable development can be interpreted more than three decades after its inception and what it means for researchers in the 21st century. A dedicated session will explore the relationship between sustainable development and artificial intelligence.
The event’s first day will host a PhD workshop, offering young researchers an opportunity to present their work and exchange ideas with doctoral students and professors from around the world. Over the three main days of the conference, plenary sessions and panel discussions will provide a platform to share the latest research findings related to sustainable development.
We warmly invite all colleagues working on various aspects of sustainable development and related fields to participate in the conference. In addition to the standard sessions, the conference offers the opportunity to organize new, innovative sessions promoting interdisciplinary thinking as well. The deadline for submitting proposals for these sessions is 31 December 2024, while the deadline for submitting short abstracts is 15 January 2025. Further information about the event, including the call for papers, can be found at 2025.isdrsconferences.org.
