Tabletop Talks – Board Game Night
New programme series starts at the Gellért Campus!Date: 13 November 2024,18:00-21:00
Location: Corvinus Gellért Campus, K 201 Reading room
The Tabletop Talks board game evenings are not only about rolling the dice, but also about looking beyond the world of games: what social, cultural and scientific themes do the games explore, what mechanical and thematic tools do they use to present real-life events.
The programme will be hosted by game designer Robin Hegedűs, who will not only present the game but also lead the discussion that will follow, as well as providing insights into trends in the modern games industry.
For the first time, the central theme will be witchcraft, in the spirit of Halloween. The game Septima will be the first game on our table, and we will then discuss topics such as witch hunts, the role of gossip, new religions or anything else that players have thought of while creating their characters.
The event is free to attend but registration is required.
