Corvinus lecturer wins MNB’s Green Finance Science Award

Emilia Németh-Durkó, assistant professor at Corvinus, received a special prize for her research project on banks in the service of the green transition.

Our colleague was awarded the Green Finance Science Talent Award for her outstanding research work, her interdisciplinary scientific approach and her highly cited publications at the professional conference of the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB in Hungarian) last week entitled “Sustainability Trends and Dilemmas in Economics”, the central bank told MTI.  

The MNB’s Talent Award is given to a Hungarian professional under 41 years of age who has carried out outstanding green finance research based on his or her publication activities in recent years. The Green Finance Research Initiative is open to research projects that have a current research agenda in the field of green finance and are of high scientific quality.
