Corvinus successes at the European University Games

The international sport event, which took place between 12 and 24 July in Debrecen and Miskolc, has come to an end. This year, Hungary won the most medals, to which the students of Corvinus University of Budapest also contributed.

Almost 600 Hungarian students participated in the games, representing 22 Hungarian higher education institutions. Hungary topped the table with 16 gold, 18 silver and 24 bronze medals. The Corvinus University of Budapest tied for third place with the University of Szeged, behind the Hungarian University of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Eötvös Loránd University. 

Our results: 

Luca Márta Patakfalvy – Taekwondo +53-57kg – gold medal 

András László Kiss – Karate -60kg – silver medal 

Bence Barnabás Máthé – Judo +60-66kg – bronze medal 

Men’s water polo team – bronze medal 

3×3 men’s basketball team – 15th place
