In partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary, the Institute of Finance at the Corvinus University of Budapest presents a rare chance for one talented student to visit the prestigious London Stock Exchange in April. The sponsored trip, courtesy of the British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary and KPMG, promises to provide the selected student with an exceptional experience at the heart of global finance. This opportunity is open to BA, MSc, and PhD students across all programs at Corvinus University.
To participate, students must submit a CV and an essay addressing the topic: Arguments for and against the EU’s Capital Market Union goal, and the role of the London Stock Exchange within this. Essays must adhere to specific formatting guidelines—12-point Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, and a maximum of five pages. The submission deadline is 26 January, with first-round results to be announced on 6 February. Top candidates will proceed to a second round in mid-February, featuring an in-person discussion with the Board of the British Chamber of Commerce, followed by the final selection shortly thereafter.
