One-day football tournament at the Gellért Campus

The 1-day football tournament was held on Monday 22 April at the Corvinus Gellért Campus, organised by the Centre for Physical Education and Sport and the Student Union. A very strong field was formed, with most teams featuring active players from various leagues, and many matches were serious prestige battles.  

The atmosphere was fantastic. The organisers were keen to ensure that all teams played as many matches as possible.  The teams played each other in 4 groups in a round-robin format. The top 2 teams from each group progressed to the last 8, where the matches were also played in a straight knock-out format.   

The winners were “Felrúglak LSL”, who beat “GoalDiggers” in the final.  In the Bronze match, the team “ReálMargit” defeated the team “Divéki Botiék” in a great fight with a score of 5:4 and finished in 3rd place.
