Freshness, Curiosity, and Tradition: Corvinus Unveils Its Renewed Visual Identity

The updated color palette blends the values of freshness, initiative, and curiosity with knowledge and tradition, complemented by compositions inspired by the university’s iconic architectural features. The new visual identity did not replace but rather simplified the existing logo. The refined brand identity also includes a new photographic style and a set of creative applications, extending even to branded merchandise. Corvinus University’s new look was designed by a renowned graphic agency with international experience in higher education branding.
The university renewed its visual identity by involving the Corvinus community through workshops and consultations with student organizations. The process began in autumn 2024 with a workshop that brought together representatives from all key target groups of the university, including Hungarian and international faculty members, researchers, students, alumni, and several university leaders. In December, the plans were reviewed by the Student Union, student organization representatives, the Senate, middle and senior university management, and representatives of the university’s maintainer. Based on their insights and feedback, the final visual identity was shaped.
Visitors to Corvinus’ buildings can now experience the renewed brand identity across multiple platforms and formats. This includes the simplified logo, a more vibrant color palette, the signature arch that complements photos and creative elements, and a new, outstretched-wing raven symbol featured on various surfaces and branded merchandise.

Our website, uni-corvinus.hu, has also undergone a transformation—not just visually, but structurally as well. The most noticeable change is the revamped homepage, which, in alignment with the university’s strategy, now focuses primarily on recruitment, attracting prospective students, and promoting Corvinus’ research on an international scale. The updated layout is clean and spacious, guiding visitors seamlessly to key areas such as programs, news, events, and research. Over the coming weeks, the redesign will continue with updates to program-specific pages and other subpages.
