Global Horizons and Experiences at the MBA Winter University

The inaugural MBA Winter University, hosted by Corvinus University of Budapest, took place from 13 to 16 February 2025 in Abaújszántó.
Students noted that the Winter University provided a valuable opportunity to interact outside the classroom environment, fostering relaxed moments and building bonds across diverse cohorts. The beautiful setting of the Tokaj Wine Region served as the perfect backdrop for these enriching interactions, enhancing the global perspective of the participants.
The workshops were particularly impactful, addressing pressing issues in the professional, academic, and personal lives of the MBA students. This holistic approach not only broadened their perspectives but also deepened their understanding of essential MBA topics within an international context.
Overall, the Winter University fostered a strong sense of global community, bringing people together and creating lasting connections. It was a significant occasion that combined intellectual growth with cultural immersion, reflecting the university’s strategy to enhance international engagement.
Special appreciation is extended to Prof. Bulcsú Hoppál for his initiative and dedication in bringing this event to life, and to Mr. Csaba Vecsernyés for organizing a workshop on career design and development. The programme coordinator, Arezoo, also played a crucial role in supporting the students with all practical aspects. Additionally, gratitude is expressed to Miklós Kozma, Programme Director, for his support in boosting the international and social aspects of the MBA programme through this event.
