Enhancing Global Perspectives: Prof. Luís Lóia Visited Corvinus University

On 03 March 2025, Corvinus University hosted Professor Luís Lóia, a leading academic and program director of the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) program at the Catholic University of Portugal. During a lively lunch discussion with faculty members, Prof. Lóia shared his valuable insights on the benefits of internationalizing PPE programs. In the evening, Prof. Lóia delivered a thought-provoking lecture titled “Populism and the third wave of autocratization,” which was well-attended by students and members of the broader academic community on the Gellért Campus. His examination of contemporary political phenomena provided a deeper understanding of current global political trends, engaging the audience in critical thinking and discussion. The visit from Prof. Lóia is paving the way for more exchanges and collaborative programs that benefit the academic community.
