Student successes at the autumn MEFOB races

2023-11-10 11:22:00

Our student Lili Fórizs won the silver medal, while Lilla Farkas came seventh in another competition among 800 participants.

Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

5vös 5km Race

It was the first competition of the season (organised by ELTE), where Corvinus University participated with three students: Lilla Farkas reached 7th place among the more than 800 participants with a great sprint, Zsombor Baki and Nándor Kovács completed the distance with a decent result.

The B64 Deseda Charity Run Gala

Our student Lili Fórizs represented the University at the Gala. The competition took Lili’s performance in the right direction, which is also reflected in her results, which have been steadily increasing this year. Winning the silver medal was a result of adequate preparation, ideal weather conditions and the joy of movement – all of which helped our student’s performance.

Here’s what Lili said after the tournament:

“The Deseda race went well for me, which was also my first race of the academic year. I was able to run in ideal conditions and made the time I expected. The run itself went very well; I personally like running on terrain much more than on a synthetic running track. And here the route passes through beautiful countryside. The difference in level was not a hindrance, as I am used to terrain anyway. I’m very happy that I could finish so well in my category and got second place.  Overall, I had a great time and I look forward to running in the other races this year.”

Well done girls, well done boys! Congratulations and we wish you further sporting success!
