Huge sporting success in Abu Dhabi

This year the IFMA Muaythai World Championship was hosted by Abu Dhabi, where our student, Barnabás Kiss was a member of the national team and represented Hungary in the U23 age group, in the category of 81 kg. 

Barnabás posted a report about the World Championship on his Facebook page: 

‘During the preparations, I managed to achieve the best form in my career, so I definitely travelled with the intention of bringing the brightest medal home. However, before the departure, I suffered an injury that seriously threatened my ability to join the competition at all. 
I had to cope with a number of other difficulties, too, during my stay, so I managed to get a bronze medal this year! There were very tough matches, and it was great to fight with the best!’
