Mandatory Two-Step Authentication in Neptun
As part of the changes to the Neptun system, we are introducing two-factor authentication in a phased manner. This means that students for whom it was previously optional – those who started in the fall or spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year – will soon be required to set up two-step authentication.
Starting from March 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM, authentication will become mandatory for all affected students. This means that logging into Neptun will require an additional verification step through an Authenticator application.
We kindly ask you to set up two-factor authentication as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience. We provide all necessary support, and you can find a detailed guide on the university website.
