On July 11-12, 2024, Corvinus University will host the inaugural Conference on Economic Complexity (CEC). The event has attracted nearly 70 submissions from around the globe.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore presentations organized into four major themes, highlighting innovative research in the field.
Thanks to the support of American data analytics company Datawheel, participants will gain valuable insights into the practical applications of economic complexity on June 11. The conference will feature talks from industry and policy leaders who leverage theoretical and methodological tools of economic complexity in their decision-making processes.
The official program will conclude on July 12, followed by a special evening boat cruise for the first 200 registered guests.
Registration is open until July 1, 2024.
The event is organized by the Center for Collective Learning (CCL), led by Professor César A. Hidalgo. CCL has offices in Toulouse, France, and at the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies (CIAS) at Corvinus University of Budapest, in Hungary.
